Gjermund "Yeti" Winsnes
Owner | General Contractor
Yeti Winsnes founded Nordic Builders in 2017, bringing with him nearly two decades of hands-on construction experience and a deep commitment to quality. Born and raised on a dairy farm in Norway, Yeti began his carpentry training right after high school, completing both school and an apprenticeship before moving to the U.S. at age 20. Since then, he has built homes from the ground up, overseen countless kitchen and bathroom renovations, and tackled everything from garage conversions to full home remodels.
Known for his peaceful presence, clear communication, and problem-solving mindset, Yeti leads the team with integrity and a meticulous eye for detail. As a licensed general contractor and skilled carpenter, he ensures that every project reflects the high standards NB is known for. Outside of work, you’ll find Yeti playing soccer or volleyball, spending time with his wife and kids, or gathering with friends. For him, family and faith are at the center of everything he does.
Christina Winsnes
CFO | Design Director
Christina Winsnes wears many hats at NB, combining business operations with creative direction. As CFO, she ensures that the company runs smoothly behind the scenes. As design director, she brings a lifelong passion for beauty, balance, and intentionality into every space NB touches. Though officially stepping into the design role recently, Christina has been cultivating her eye for style for years—remodeling rooms for friends, curating color palettes, and leading a full home design project in 2023–2024. She has a gift for combining colors, textures, and lighting to create spaces that feel both elevated and deeply personal.
Clients appreciate Christina’s honesty, leadership, and direct communication. She believes great design starts with clarity, and she loves helping clients create homes that reflect their lives and values. Born in China and raised as a missionary kid, Christina brings a global perspective to her work. She’s a social butterfly, a coffee enthusiast, and happiest when hosting gatherings or spending time with her husband and their young kids. Working alongside Yeti has always been a dream—and one that allows their family to thrive.
GilCrist Zick
Project Manager | Skilled Carpenter
Gil Zick is a project manager and experienced carpenter at Nordic Builders LLC. With a strong background in hands-on construction and an eye for craftsmanship, Gil plays a key role in keeping projects on track and built to our high standards. His reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail make him a trusted member of our team and a consistent presence on-site.
Madge Morantte
Office Administrator
Based in the Philippines, Madge plays a vital role in keeping the wheels turning at Nordic Builders. As our Office Manager, she consistently supports both our team and our clients with exceptional care and clarity. Madge is an exceptional communicator who helps relay information in a way that’s simple, timely, and easy to understand. Her dedication behind the scenes ensures nothing slips through the cracks—and her presence is felt daily, even from across the globe.
